The primary setting for The Lost Saints of Tennessee is the main character Zeke's hometown of Clayton, Tennessee.  While Clayton is fictional, it was inspired by my father's hometown of Pocahontas, Tennessee.  I situated Clayton in exactly the same geographical spot as Pocahontas but used the freedom fiction gives a writer to put a lake where I needed it.
